Carrara Round Mosaic Tile, laid as the floor of a small powder room. A single photograph, taken from standing height, shows the whole floor at once: it runs from behind the toilet, across the open centre of the room, and continues under a wall hung timber vanity.
Rounds running under the vanity
Because the vanity is wall hung, the floor carries on unbroken beneath it, and the small room reads larger for it. The rounds sit in offset rows, each piece ringed by a narrow line of pale grout, so the surface reads as a fine, even texture rather than a grid. Warm timber and brushed metal sit above a cooler, near white field.
At floor scale the rounds lose their outlines a metre or two away and settle into a soft, slightly mottled white. Colour like this shifts between screens and batches, so it is worth checking the tone against a physical sample under the room's light.
What this page does not tell you
This page does not say where a tile may be used.
Colour, finish and grout read differently under different light and between production batches. Order a sample and look at it in the room before you decide.
