About Terrazzo look tiles

Five terrazzo-look porcelain tiles, delivered Australia-wide, in white, beige and grey. Terrazzo-look tiles carry the speckled chip pattern of poured terrazzo on a tile: the Haven range comes in 300 × 600 mm and 600 × 600 mm, with matt faces and a rough-textured option. Every tile has an A$3 sample piece, so you can see the chip scale in your own light before ordering.

Terrazzo tiles or terrazzo look?

Traditional terrazzo is chips of marble, quartz, granite or glass set in a cement or epoxy binder, poured and ground on site or made in a factory as tiles. The five tiles here are porcelain with a terrazzo pattern, made and fired like any other porcelain tile. Terrazzo tiles or terrazzo look? The five here are porcelain sets out the difference, and Terrazzo-look tiles: 5 faces compared, chip scale to joint count compares the five by chip scale, size, finish and colour.

The five terrazzo-look tiles

Haven White, Haven Fine White and Haven Grey are matt and come in 300 × 600 mm and 600 × 600 mm. Haven In/Out (beige) and Haven Pebble In/Out (grey) come in 600 × 600 mm, each in a matt or a rough face.

Each product page here records P3 on the AS 4586 scale. The values are from the supplier's current documentation; we do not hold the underlying test reports. Haven In/Out and Haven Pebble In/Out each record one class for the product, not one per face; if the face matters to your project, confirm it with the supplier documentation and your installer or specifier. A recorded class is a reference value, not approval for a specific application: use the individual product record as the specification source and confirm project requirements with the responsible installer or specifier. All five also appear in bathroom tiles.

Common questions

Is it spelled terrazzo, terazzo or terrazo?

Terrazzo, with a double r and a double z; it is an Italian word. Terazzo and terrazo are common misspellings of the same thing.

How many terrazzo-look tiles do I need?

A 600 × 600 mm tile covers 0.36 m² and a 300 × 600 mm tile 0.18 m², before cuts. The tile calculator turns your measurements into a count of whole tiles.

Can I order a sample?

Yes. Each tile has a sample piece, and you can build a sample shortlist of several in one order.
