About Stone look tiles

Six stone-look porcelain tiles, delivered Australia-wide: three Atlas tiles with a honed or matt face in 600 × 600 mm, two of them also in 600 × 1200 mm, and three Ridge tiles with a rough, slate-like face in 300 × 600 mm and 600 × 600 mm. Every tile has an A$3 sample piece, so you can see the stone pattern and feel the surface before ordering boxes.

Stone look, not natural stone

All six are porcelain made to look like stone. If you are searching for natural stone floor tiles, that is a different material: all six record porcelain as their material in the supplier's documentation. Slate tiles or slate look? The three here are porcelain sets out the difference for the Ridge tiles, and The five tiles here that are actually stone lists the five natural marble mosaic sheets on the site.

The six stone-look tiles

Atlas Frost (white) and Atlas Ivory (beige) are honed and come in 600 × 600 mm and 600 × 1200 mm. Atlas Pearl (grey) is matt, in 600 × 600 mm. Ridge Grey, Ridge Slate (both grey) and Ridge Charcoal have a rough face and come in 300 × 600 mm and 600 × 600 mm. Stone-look tiles: 6 faces compared by finish, size and joint count reads the six product pages side by side.

Stone-look floor tiles and slip classes

Each product page here records a class on the AS 4586 scale: P3 on the three Atlas tiles and P5 on the three Ridge tiles. The values are from the supplier's current documentation; we do not hold the underlying test reports. A recorded class does not establish suitability for a specific application; use the individual product record as the specification source and confirm project requirements with the responsible installer or specifier. Tile slip ratings: what P3 means explains the scale.

Textured and travertine-look options

The three Ridge tiles and Atlas Ivory and Atlas Frost also sit in textured tiles, which groups every tile whose page records a rough, wave, fluted or texture-and-honed surface. For a lighter stone look, see travertine-look tiles.

Common questions

How many stone-look tiles do I need?

A 600 × 600 mm tile covers 0.36 m², about 2.8 tiles per square metre before cuts. The tile calculator turns your measurements into a count of whole tiles.

Can I order a sample?

Yes. Each tile has a sample piece, and you can build a sample shortlist of several in one order.
