With no reflection to carry a smear, marks on matt generally read less than they do on a glazed face, and the room keeps less of its own daylight. In a dim hallway that costs you something; on a floor taking hard afternoon sun it is why there is no glare to walk into.

The group covers concrete-look, terrazzo-look, travertine-look, stone-look and marble-look faces, with mosaic sheets and a subway shape among them. Some carry both matt and rough. Formats run right across the range, so the size pages are the better route if you want a particular one.
