We're an online tile shop based in Melbourne. Delivery to a Greater Melbourne address starts at A$35, and orders usually reach Melbourne addresses two to four business days after they leave our warehouse.
What delivery costs
Delivery is priced on the total weight of your order. These are the rates for Greater Melbourne postcodes.
- A$35 Up to 35 kg One 30 kg box, or two boxes of subway tiles
- A$45 Up to 130 kg About two to four 30 kg boxes
- A$95 Up to 200 kg About five or six 30 kg boxes
- A$150 Up to 1,000 kg One pallet
Two pallets are A$179 and three are A$259. Geelong and the rest of Victoria have their own rates, from A$60 and A$70 for up to 35 kg; the delivery page lists them and the postcodes for each. Over 3,000 kg, email sales@tilekind.com.au for a quote. Prices include GST, and checkout shows the exact charge for your address.
Most boxes weigh about 30 kg; boxes of subway and 100 × 300 mm wall tiles weigh about 16 kg. Mosaic sheets don't count towards the weight. The delivery page has the full table.
From sample to delivery
- Samples A$3 a piece, up to five in a tray, with free postage and no minimum order. Posted within three business days; they usually arrive two to six business days later. Order samples
- The full order The sample cost comes off a full order of the same tile placed within six months of your sample order. Quote your sample order number when you order.
- Delivery Dispatched within three business days, then usually two to four business days to a Victorian address.
Good to know
- Drivers leave tiles at the kerb or driveway and don't carry them inside, upstairs or any further. Tell us about narrow streets, steps or site rules before the truck is booked; the delivery page has a checklist.
- A few remote postcodes and islands are quoted separately or carry a surcharge. We'll tell you before dispatch, and you can cancel at no cost.
