Wall tiles
12 tilesA wall is the one surface in the house nobody stands on.
That changes what you are deciding. On a floor you are choosing grip; on a wall you are choosing what sits behind the tile and where the first course lands. Render, plasterboard and fibre-cement sheet each take an adhesive differently, and a wall out of plumb turns up in the grout lines. A splashback is set out as a run rather than an area, and the end cuts decide whether the courses read centred.
About Wall tiles
Gloss runs through most of the group, with matt also recorded, and a face recorded as gloss or matt on part of the group. Subway shapes make up most of it, alongside a plain wall face, which is why the subway page shows much the same grid. A face dimension is on file for every tile here: 75 × 300 mm, 100 × 300 mm and 300 × 600 mm.
None of them carries a slip class. AS 4586 wet pendulum testing measures how a surface behaves underfoot, and no tile grouped here has that measurement, so nothing on this page can be read as a floor result.
