Carrara Petite Herringbone across a bath and shower

Carrara Petite Herringbone Mosaic Tile, photographed across two frames from one supplier shoot. The first looks straight at a bath wall with wall-mounted brass tapware. The second frames a shower corner, where the herringbone field climbs past a brass rain head and around a recessed niche.

Wall-mounted taps on herringbone

Shot square on, the wall is nothing but herringbone above the bath rim, so the pattern carries the whole frame. Each chip is small, which puts a great many joints across a short span, and the grout sits close to the tile colour, so the zigzag reads as texture rather than as a drawn grid. Faint grey veining wanders through, never settling into an obvious repeat.

Herringbone up the shower corner

Here the field runs the full height of the frame and turns the corner, with the brass rain head, mixer plate and handset set against it. At this height the herringbone reads as a fine diagonal weave rather than as individual pieces. The niche opening cuts a clean rectangle into it. Worth confirming the colour and finish against a physical sample, since white and grey tones shift between screens.
