Ceramic tiles

Sixteen ceramic tiles, delivered Australia-wide: eleven subway tiles in 75 × 300 and 100 × 300 mm, one rectified 300 × 600 mm gloss white wall tile and four mosaic sheets. It is a grouping by the material row on the product page. Every tile has an A$3 sample piece, so you can check the face and colour before ordering.

Ceramic wall tiles

Twelve of the sixteen, the eleven subway tiles and Studio Pure White, make up the whole wall tiles collection, a grouping on this site rather than a suitability determination. Eleven are 8 mm thick and Studio Pure White is 10 mm. Five subway tiles carry a wave face and the rest are flat. Of the eleven subway tiles, nine record gloss, Studio Linen records matt, and Studio Flat records gloss or matt, chosen when you order. Ceramic mosaic sheets

The four ceramic sheets are 6 mm thick: three matt Carrara sheets, herringbone at 316 × 277 mm, hexagon at 282 × 325 mm and square at 306 × 306 mm, and one gloss Studio White Herringbone sheet at 316 × 277 mm. On these three, Carrara is part of the name, not the material: all three record ceramic. Nine tiles here say Carrara. Five of them are marble. explains which are which.

Ceramic floor tiles: no slip class recorded

Ceramic or porcelain?

Tiles recorded as porcelain, the fourteen Pietra marble-look tiles among them, sit in the porcelain tiles collection. How many ceramic wall tiles do I need?

A 75 × 300 mm tile works out at about 44.4 tiles per square metre and a 100 × 300 mm tile about 33.3, before cuts. The tile calculator turns your wall measurements into a count of whole tiles or sheets.

Is every tile here suitable for my wall?
