Square mosaic tiles

Square tiles here come in two scales. This page lists the one square mosaic, Carrara Square Mosaic Tile: a white, matt ceramic sheet, 306 × 306 mm and 6 mm thick, delivered Australia-wide and sold by the sheet, with an A$3 sample piece. The full-size square tiles, 34 of them at 600 × 600 mm, are listed in 600 × 600 mm tiles.

Small square tiles: the mosaic sheet

Carrara Square records a sheet size and no piece size, so the page does not say how big each small square is. If that matters to your layout, ask us before you order. Its material row reads Ceramic: Carrara here is a look, and the description calls it Carrara-inspired.

Beside a full-size square tile, the mosaic repeats the same square grid at a smaller scale. The page does not record a piece size or a joint width, so whether its joints line up with a larger square tile's cannot be read from it; settle that with your installer before setting out.

White square tiles

Carrara Square is recorded as white, and so are ten of the 34 tiles at 600 × 600 mm: seven Pietra marble looks, Atlas Frost, a stone look, and Haven White and Haven Fine White, both terrazzo looks. All ten are porcelain. White tiles lists every white in the range, square or not.

Square tiles at 600 × 600 mm

All 34 record Porcelain and 10 mm: twelve marble looks, six stone looks, six concrete looks, five travertine looks and five terrazzo looks. Each records an AS 4586 slip class, from P2 to P5. 600 × 600 mm tiles: 34 compared sets them side by side.

Square mosaic on a floor: what the page records

Carrara Square records no AS 4586 slip class, so there is no floor figure on its page to read. It is listed in bathroom tiles, kitchen tiles and kitchen splashback tiles, which is how the range is grouped, not a rating. What a particular floor needs is for your installer or specifier to confirm.

How many square mosaic sheets per square metre?

About 10.7 sheets of Carrara Square, at about 0.0936 m² each, worked from the stated sheet size with no joint and before cuts and allowance. The tile calculator turns your measurements into a count of whole sheets.

Is every square tile here suitable for my project?
